Allure sails one week early
9 February 2010
Royal Caribbean International has brought forward its inaugural season for Allure of the Seas’, with the ship now sailing one week earlier than originally planned.
The ship’s first revenue voyage will be a seven-night Western Caribbean itinerary, sailing on 5 December 2010, with cabins now open for booking.
Guests booked on the original inaugural season sail date of 12 December 2010 will be contacted and given the opportunity to move their cruise vacation to the new sailing date.
Booked guests who wish to take the 5 December sailing will be re-accommodated in the same stateroom and category, and the cruise fare will be the lower of either the fare paid or current prices.
Guests booked on the 12 December sailing will have until the end of February 2010 to opt to change their cruise date and ensure they keep the same stateroom.
Guests onboard the 5 December voyage of Allure of the Seas will be among the first to enjoy an exceptional vacation experience on the newest Oasis-class ship, featuring an array of exclusive, industry-revolutionising onboard amenities, and premiering new, breathtaking high-diving, light and fountain shows in the AquaTheater and dazzling entertainment productions in the Opal Theater and Studio B ice-skating rink.
Allure of the Seas shares the title of the world’s largest and most revolutionary cruise ship with sister-ship Oasis of the Seas.
Considered an architectural marvel at sea, the 225,000 tone ship will span 16 decks and carry 5400 guests at double occupancy, in 2700 staterooms.
The ship will alternate a Western Caribbean with an Eastern Caribbean seven-night itinerary from her home port of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
